first off i am new second of all i got a major question i drive a 4x4 samuria it is comp. stock excpt for a sub,ps2,vcr,sony deck and a 5.5 screen on the front dash, me and my girl got pulled over last week on A country back road because she was wachin a movie(must have seen it through the back glass) cop said it was illigal to have a screen on the dash but i only have two seats so behind the driver would not work !!!any law readers know the truth on the screen let me know.... oh yea he told us not to turn it on anymore.. could have been a b!tch of a ticket i have heard but i want the truth......

I think it was more like something it can not be viewable to the driver when the car is in motion or something. correct me if i am wrong.

i heard screen setup for navigation systems is ok, but no video unless your stopped and parked.

heres the law....its a loop-hole..."there cannot be a video screen in the view of the DRIVER except when it doubles as a rearview mirror or navigation "


doesn't matter if its a two seater or not...my suggetion...get a back up camera system and have it on a switch...so if a cop does pull you over foir watch'n a movie switch it over to the camera...its also cool for when you take off and you record your launch and such...or killed videos...

you cant have any type of video movies and such in the view of the driver.

I hate 2 screens in my head rest as well as a flip out in my dash. Ive drivin with them on b4 and once a cop saw them i guess and got behind me. I saw him so I closed the one in my dash, I think he was tryin to see if I had one in the dash so he could give me a ticket.
